I can't help but totally love this engagement session with Shonnah & Dan. We spent the whole session over at The Modern and The Kimbell art museums here in Fort Worth and enjoyed checking out the new Piano Pavilion. I've managed to do small portions of sessions at The Kimbell while it was still under construction but I'm so excited that it's open now. And Shonnah & Dan were the perfect couple to share the experience with. It was pretty amazing but it did get freakishly humid from all this crazy weather- these two were troopers though! I can't wait for their wedding this fall- it's going to be the talk of the town!
Engaged | Ashley & JD
Brides come in all forms and I truly love them all, but talk with me for 5 minutes and you'll quickly learn I'm a sucker for an architectural bride. And here, BOTH the bride and groom are in the industry on some level. LOVE IT!! So I got to bebop around the historic downtown area of Plano and then finish things off at the Chili's that they met at 7 years ago on a blind date. Super cute, right?! So here we go- these are some of my faves from the day- and now I can't wait for their wedding because these two are adorable in street clothes, can you only imagine them in wedding gear!? Can't stand it!
Proposal | Josh & Christy
Josh had been carefully planning his proposal to Christy when he began to suspect that she had her own suspicions about a certain Saturday. So he decided to shake things up a bit and propose the day before in her favorite field near home. While they were frolicking through the grass, I had the chance to hone in on my stealth skills and hide in the tree line to keep things a true surprise for Christy. We ended this part of their evening with a few quick portraits to celebrate the start of their new journey. Here's a few of my favorites to tell a bit of their story. Congrats you two!
