Moving locations means I don't get to see old friends as often or pieces of children's lives that have touched mine in such wonderful ways. But I was able to snag a couple extra senior sessions that meant having one more memory with some of my favorite seniors. Mackenzie is definitely no exception to that and I was SOOO excited to hear from her mom about booking this shoot for her. She's not a boot-wearing kind of Texas gal, she likes it upscale so we headed to Sundance Square before wrapping it up at the Water Gardens. Both being high on my list of favorite Fort Worth locales to stroll through (you can say I like it upscale too). Her brother blew me away with his ninja model skills at his session a couple years ago, and she came to prove that this family does not disappoint. This young lady is gonna go far in helping others after college and I couldn't be more proud of how her life is panning out. Congrats!
Senior | Colin
Colin is deceptively quite. While he definitely has a more reserved presence, he keeps his amazing personality for those he includes in his inner circle. It was great getting to see his quirky side come out as the session progressed from Trinity Park to downtown Fort Worth. He'll be going out-of-town for college in the fall and I can't wait to see how this (extremely tall) teenager turns into a fabulous young man. Congrats Colin!
Senior | Claire
I have had the great privilege of watching Claire grow from this cute little thing into an amazing young woman. She is kind, intelligent, hilarious, and a plethora of things we could all hope to achieve in ourselves. And on top of all of that she's a dancer. I think I could have a session with Claire every weekend for the rest of my life. The world needs more dance photos. Am I right? So we spent the whole morning in Downtown Fort Worth near or in Sundance Square for some traditional senior pictures and a whole lotta ballet. So while Claire's mom goes to get the tissues, the rest of you be sure to grab your sweet tea, because we're all in for a real treat.
Congrats on your senior year, Claire. Go Tigers! Hook 'Em!
