The first Saturday of nearly every month, Creme de la Creme Cake Company hosts an Open House for newly engaged brides to come and sample bite-sized pieces of heaven in an assortment of flavors. If it's possible to have multiple favorites anywhere, it's here. This month, I had the opportunity to be a featured vendor and meet all kinds of sweet brides excited about their big day and the fun part of planning. I thoroughly enjoyed it :) At the end of the day I snagged a few shots of some new display cakes that they had in the front windows and thought I'd share these classic beauties. Who doesn't love a good tone-on-tone wedding cake? Thanks ladies (& guy)! It was a wonderful day!

Let me be the first to say that these two make a great team and definitely become partners in crime when planning a party. When Brittany Simmons first came to me with her news of starting an event planning company with friend, Katie Lane, I was both ecstatic for her (she's super amazing at decorating with flair) and nervous (as partnerships can be interesting), until I met Ms. Katie and saw her work. She is not only adorable, but her stationary design work both compliments Brittany's style perfectly and adds another layer of detail. It's a match made in design heaven! So naturally when they asked me for some fun shots, I was ready to go! We hung out near the Stockyards in Fort Worth and broke out some props. It was a blast to say the least. Here's some of my fave's and be sure to call these gals at Dainty Dahlia's to plan your next event!
Plus, my dear husband had to tag along so we made him prop master… Can't you just see his enthusiasm?

Creme De La Creme has most definitely made a reputation for itself from years of wonderful cakes, but it's always exciting to see what the Fort Worth bakery has coming out on display. While these dazzling confections aren't meant to eat, they look just as sweet. Here's are few of their newest creations!
