Well my friends, Dainty Dahlias has done it again. This time for a special little girl turning 2. Every detail was outlined, every cookie iced, and every crisis averted, and this giggly girl had a great day. On a beautiful Saturday morning, I had the privilege to help out setting up a birthday party with Dainty Dahlias out in Little Elm. But this wasn't just any birthday party, it was the 1st birthday party of quite an adorable little boy! The girls planned an amazingly detail-licious event around an 'all things that fly' theme focusing on planes. I mean to tell ya, this event had it join' on. With the trendy color palette and hand-made touches, all the kids on the block had to be jealous. So are you ready for take off? 'Cuz here we go!
I got to hang out with Jacob for his senior portrait session last weekend at Trinity Park, Van Zandt Cottage, AND the Post Office in downtown Fort Worth. He's a pretty cool guy, and that's not just because he'll be attending the University of Texas at Arlington this fall (Go Mavs!). While Mom and I are all for this kids handsome smile, I'm a sucker for a good 'serious face' and Jacob figured out my shooting pattern real quick and got in a groove. Made me one happy photographer. Thanks for spending your Saturday morning with me guys, I know those beds were hard to leave- but I'm glad you did! Congrats Jacob!
