Last week after another session with Kennedy, I posted some of my favorites of little miss K from this last year. It's been such a pleasure getting to see her grow- I can't even imagine how much she might change when it's time for her senior pictures! Happy Anniversary kids- Enjoy the happiness and keep on dreaming into tomorrow!
Let me be the first to say that these two make a great team and definitely become partners in crime when planning a party. When Brittany Simmons first came to me with her news of starting an event planning company with friend, Katie Lane, I was both ecstatic for her (she's super amazing at decorating with flair) and nervous (as partnerships can be interesting), until I met Ms. Katie and saw her work. She is not only adorable, but her stationary design work both compliments Brittany's style perfectly and adds another layer of detail. It's a match made in design heaven! So naturally when they asked me for some fun shots, I was ready to go! We hung out near the Stockyards in Fort Worth and broke out some props. It was a blast to say the least. Plus, my dear husband had to tag along so we made him prop master… Can't you just see his enthusiasm?
I get to photograph this young lady fairly often which gives me the opportunity that not many photographers are blessed to have. To see someone, who is not their own, grow through their photos. It's quite an experience and I'm loving every minute of it. Last weekend I got to photograph Ms. Kennedy again and it made me want to go back and look at what came before.
