This fall I got to do TWO days of mini sessions for some way cool DFW people. I got to laugh and play with all kinds of new little friends as I taught them that the best pictures often mean no one says 'cheese' and it's okay if you tend to fidget. That pictures can be fun experience where little boys can explore tree trunks or ask questions or even try to pick up that beetle (sorry little bug). It means that I get to show mom's that every mama gets stressed in the hours before picture time and that you're kids can be kids at my sessions. And low and behold, you will love seeing your little one sharing their big personality in high-res edited images ;) So here's my faves from those two wonderful days.
Family | The Wilson Family
When this awesome mama had her second little one, she kept telling me that we'd be doing pictures soon. Always soon. Until she found out they were moving, only then did soon become now! Hah! I finally got to be behind the lens for this little guy (in the most precious cap ever!) and his sister, who truly knows how to strike a pose. I can't wait to hear of all of the wonderful new things they'll be doing in this next chapter of life!
Family | The Garner Family
I first met Francis a few years back when she contacted me for some head shots for her acting portfolio. Little did I know that she'd later contact me for a family mini session, and I'm so glad she did. Her family is as sweet as they are gorgeous- and those little girls are beyond adorable. How could anyone ever say no to those smiles! I got to meet up with them at Kane Park here in Arlington and we hung out with the migrating monarch butterflies (totally cool). I'm honored to have been able to capture the small reuniting of these wonderful people and I wish them all my best.
