Birthday | Horsin' Around with Jaden

This past week a very cool and special lady turned 10 and had the pleasure of celebrating her birthday with her closest friends and her love of horses. The girls enjoyed a trial ride on the grounds at the Camp Carter YMCA in Fort Worth, and with several summers of horse camp under her belt, Ms. Jaden rode like a pro. She even got to do a little trick at the end for everyone!  And since trails are such hard work, each cowgirl was greeted with an individual picnic basket and hot chocolate upon their return. All in all it was an amazing day to be outside this winter, I do believe the sun came out for you my dear for it quickly went away again. I hope you enjoyed your day! Welcome to the double digits!

Family | Courtney & Trae

Courtney is an old school friend of mine who now has a growing family of her own. Her little boy Trae is pretty much going to steal your heart. While he's definitely adorable with that sparkle in his eye, he is also all boy. There were certainly some tough moments for this little guy, but Courtney and I managed to make a happy camper out of him. Here's a couple fun moments from that afternoon.

Proposal | Josh & Christy

Josh had been carefully planning his proposal to Christy when he began to suspect that she had her own suspicions about a certain Saturday. So he decided to shake things up a bit and propose the day before in her favorite field near home. While they were frolicking through the grass, I had the chance to hone in on my stealth skills and hide in the tree line to keep things a true surprise for Christy. We ended this part of their evening with a few quick portraits to celebrate the start of their new journey. Here's a few of my favorites to tell a bit of their story. Congrats you two!
