At the beginning of this year, I mentioned that it is the year of the high school reunions, and it has definitely not disappointed. Alissa and I are both Mansfield Tigers, and I was thrilled when she messaged me about a consultation for her wedding next Spring. Her fiancé, Adam, just adores her and their little boy (a total cutie). Their session in downtown Fort Worth and Joe T Garcia's was so much fun. They love to just be together and on occasion act a little goofy (a side-effect of having a toddler I'm sure). They'll be married at the McKinney Cotton Mill and I'm just beside myself with anticipation because Alissa is going to be just gorgeous in her dress!
Engaged | Demi & Keith
These two, you guys, are too cute to boot. We were so glad to be out with the early birds, because it's Texas, my friends, and it's hot. After sauntering around a portion of Downtown Dallas, we raced up to White Rock Lake to hang out at the piers. And our session ended with our groom jumping in the lake to help some capsized kayaks. It has become quite the story, let me tell ya. Come back in the spring to see their wedding- this bride is going to knock your socks off with style!
Engaged | Kate & Jeff
Kate & Jeff are just two of the sweetest people you could meet, and their love of life and family really show in their personalities, both individually and together. It was such a treat to photograph their engagement session at the Bishop Arts District in Dallas, then to pop over to the local park where they got engaged. Kate's definitely one of my organized brides, and I can't wait to see what all she has in store for the wedding!
... And... I don't normally include the aside moments in blog posts, but I couldn't help but love that she cleaned his glasses at the beginning of the session. I felt like it showed a genuine dynamic to their relationship that wouldn't otherwise have come out :)
